Творческий союз Алексея Любимова и Александра Рудина существует уже много лет. И каждый раз, видя их имена рядом, предвкушаешь встречу с неизвестным: архивные находки, премьеры сочинений, уникальные трактовки давно знакомой музыки.

Их творческие биографии похожи. Оба находятся в стороне от мейн-стрима, от академического шоу-бизнеса больших залов и номенклатурных событий. Они всегда стояли особняком, эти независимые художники: один – неуемный экспериментатор, первооткрыватель, первый исполнитель внушительного списка новых сочинений, другой – с более размеренным, традиционным началом творческой деятельности, выступающий ныне и как руководитель и дирижер оркестра, и как запоминающийся солист- виолончелист. У обоих музыкантов интеллектуальное прочтение текста сочетается с глубоким эмоциональным проживанием произведения, оба профессора Московской консерватории, и неудивительно, что в свою «творческую лабораторию» они приглашают студентов и выпускников Alma Mater.

Дмитрий Синковский – один из них. Он учился по классу камерного ансамбля у профессора у А.Б. Любимова на Факультете исторического и современного исполнительского искусства, еще в годы учебы увлекся исторически ориентированным исполнительством, позже решил попробовать себя на поприще вокального искусства, быстро завоевав международное признание и как контратенор.

Как скрипач Дмитрий Синьковский стал победителем самых престижных конкурсов в Италии, в Германии, Бельгии, Австрии. Критики и публика единодушно восхищаются способностью артиста «играть от самого сердца» и «ослепительной легкостью интерпретировать самую сложную музыку».

Alexander Rudin and Alexei Lubimov has been collaborators for a long time, but once you notice a billboard with their names in juxtaposition, you can’t help but think of something unknown you’ll sure hear at their concert, be it a new archive discovery, a brand new composition, or an audacious rendition of something seemingly well-known.

Their musician lives are quite similar, too. Both of them stay clear from mainstream, classical showbiz, large venues, and high-profile events. Ever stand-alone, independent artists: the one is experimentation and visionary (and the first to play numerous new pieces), while the other has more traditional approach conducting and playing solo cello.
Both musicians read music intellectually, but their delivery is emotional and moving. Both are professors in Moscow conservatory, so there’s no wonder that they invite their alma mater’s best students and graduates to their “creative lab”.

Dmitry Sinkovsky is one of the lucky ones. He studied the art of chamber ensemble with professor A. B. Lubimov (Department for the Art of Performance on Historical and Contemporary Instruments), and it was then that he really got into historically informed performance. And later he tried to become counter tenor – to stunning result and world-wide recognition.

Dmitry Sinkovsky the violin player is a winner of some most prestigious competitions in Italy, Germany, Belgium, and Austria. Both critics and public unanimously praise his ability to “play from the heart” and “a stunning lightness of his playing of even the most complicated pieces”.
