Biography
Born on the Island of Mallorca, Spain, Marga Cloquell completed her musical studies at the "Conservatori Superior de Música de les Illes Balears" with C. Bustamante and A. Zabala. She moved to Vienna where she was taught by Ruthilde Boesch and then continued her vocal training in Barcelona at the Conservatori Superior del Liceu with D. Aldea and M. Pujol. She has attended Materclasses with E. Facini, A. Felle, Ana L. Chova, I. Cotrubas, F. Cosotto, J. Aragall, M. Veit, R. Fernández Aguirre and G. Zappa. She won the 18th Mirna Lacambra Singing Competition organised by the Associació Amics de l'Òpera de Sabadell. She was also first prize winner in the 7th edition of the International Singing Competition "Germans Pla-Ciutat de Balaguer”, along with the Audience Award and a scholarship to t
