Biography
Raffaella Lupinacci is one of the most sought-after mezzosopranos of her generation. She was selected by Alberto Zedda for the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro and, in the summer of 2012, made her debut as Melibea in Rossini's Il Viaggio a Reims. In 2013, having established her reputation in the 64th AsLiCo competition, she made her debut singing the title role in "Tancredi" on the Lombardia Opera Circuit. Among her first roles, Publia in "Aureliano in Palmira" at the Rossini Opera Festival 2014, Rosina in "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" at the Teatro Comunale Bologna; Suzuki in "Madama Butterfly" at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo; Arturo in "Rosmonda d’Inghilterra" at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and at the Donizetti Opera Festival 2016; Carlotta in "Torvaldo and Dorliska" at the Rossini Oper
