Biography
Per Høyer (bassbaritone) started studying music at Copenhagen University in 1980. After having taken the Master Degree of Singing in 1985, P.H. continued the singing studies with John Guttmann Sørensen as well as interpretation with Friedrich Gürtler, Principal of the Opera Academy in Copenhagen.For shorter periods of time P.H. has attended masterclasses with Anna Reynolds, Ingrid Bjoner, Ilse Wolf, Vera Rozsa and Richard Miller. Being one of his generations most versatile singer, P.H. has a repertoire stretching from baroque to contemporary music, covering sacred music, lieder, opera, operetta and musical. This has meant participation in numerous concerts with The Danish Radio, The Swedish Radio, South-WestGerman Radio, Austrian Radio, covering live concerts and radio recordings for broa
