Biography
BORIS PETRONJE Bass The Swiss-Serbian Bass Boris Petronje was born in Serbia and studied at the University of Arts in Novi Sad and Faculty of Music in Belgrade with Prof. Biserka Cvejic and obtained his Master of Arts in Music. He gained initial professional experience at the Novi Sad Opera, where he performed in works such as «Die Fledermaus» (Strauss), «Il Trovatore» (Verdi) und «Tosca» (Puccini). As part of an engagement at the National Theatre Belgrade he interpreted roles such as Colline («La Bohème»), Sparafucile («Rigoletto»), Il Grande Sacerdote («Nabucco»), the Friar («Don Carlo»), Sarastro («Die Zauberflöte») und Sagristano («Tosca»).
